The Great Hambino
An amazing sandwich with smoked pulled ham and spicy pepper jack cheese, avocado and tomato layered between two pieces of bread.
- Bone-in ham* or left over smoked ham - 16-24 ounces (left over ham)
- Sliced pepper jack cheese - 4-8 slices
- Avocado, sliced - 2
- Tomato, sliced - 2
- Mayonnaise - 6-8 Tablespoons
- Bread of your choice - 8 slices
*For the Ham(if you don't have leftovers):
Preheat smoker to high smoke.
Put bone-in ham (not spiraled) in pellet grill, until internal temperature reaches 205°F. Let rest for 30 minutes before pulling.
Cook Time: 12-13 hours
Build sandwiches: Slice of bread, mayonnaise, smoked ham, tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, and top with another slice of bread that has mayonnaise on it.
