Mongolian BBQ Stir Fry
Looking for Mongolian BBQ recipes? Try this simple stir fry recipe on your home griddle or Flat Top Grill. Mix and match ingredients for the flavors you want.
- 1 pound chicken breast
- 1 pound steak
- 2 bell peppers, any color
- 1 medium onion
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2-3 raw carrots
- 1-2 bunches Broccolli
- 1/2 Tablespoon garlic, chopped
- 2 pounds ramen noodles, egg noodles, or linguine pasta
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Garlic chili sauce
- Sriracha sauce
- Soy sauce
- Peanut or vegetable oil
The ingredients listed above are simply the ones we used during our cookout. There are plenty of others that you could add, replace, mix, and match. You may consider adding snap peas, bean sprouts, baby corn, and others. You can also switch out the sauces to get a different flavor. The point is each person can decide what goes into his or her stir fry!
Heat a pot of water to boiling on a stove. Cook the noodle according to the instructions on the packaging.
Slice the chicken and the steak into thin pieces. Slice vegetables.
Heat your griddle or Flat Top Grill to medium heat. Assemble all the ingredients you want in a personal bowl, including noodles, meat, vegetables, and sauces. Add about 1/4 cup of chicken broth to the combination.
Lightly oil the griddle or Flat Top Grill, then pour the entire bowl of ingredients onto the cooking surface. Try to separate the meat slightly so you can more easily see when it's finished cooking. Stir all ingredients around, letting the vegetables soften and the meat cook through, about 5 minutes. If the mixture starts to dry out, feel free to add a little more chicken broth.
Scoop up into a clean bowl, and enjoy!
