Green Beans with Mushrooms
Sauteed green beans and mushrooms make an easy, healthy side dish. Simple enough for every day, fancy enough for a special meal!
- 2 large handfuls fresh green beans, ends cut off
- All purpose seasoning to taste
- 4 Tablespoons butter
- 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 package mushrooms
Melt butter on medium heat in a cast iron skillet and then add all purpose seasoning. Add green beans and cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes and then add red bell pepper and cook for an additional 10 minutes or until vegetables begin to soften. Add mushroom and toss to coat with butter. Cook until beans are tender with a slight crunch.
