“I believe one of the reasons I am so passionate about hunting and fishing, and just spending time outdoors is due to the fact that I was allowed to experience this first-hand as a child with my dad—and that’s the same thing I’m trying to do with my boys,” says Casey as he reminisces on what brought him outdoors in the first place.
Casey’s father was a minimalist when it came to eating outdoors, but elk camp was forever changed after a family friend introduced them to the Camp Chef. As our good friend Casey says, “Just because we’re in the middle of no-where doesn’t mean we have to eat like crap. If you have the right equipment and a little bit of practice you can eat like kings.” That’s the kill shot right there, Casey! We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
