Rated 4 out of 5 by dynckey from Does What It's Supposed to Do I had previously had a bamboo board and liked it for its durability, resistance to knife cuts, easy cleanablity and attractiveness. Nevertheless, it was smallish and I often ran out of real estate while working on large cuts of meat. No longer. This thing has all of the above properties and adds size enough to accommodate the largest chunks of meat I can use. Its drip channels and collection sink for juices have a useful capacity, and board sauces are simple with this setup. If there is any downcheck, it's the size. This is a BIG and HEAVY piece of gear: it's sometimes awkward to clean in any but the largest sinks, so you can end up with soapy water all over your counter. Juggling it can be a little dicey when it's wet. And finding a place for it to hibernate between uses is tricky because of the generous footprint--the obvious counterpoint to the utility its size provides. All things considered, and adding its utility as a serving and presentation piece at table, it's worth its price. (If nothing else, it's pretty enough to leave out on the countertop.) If Camp Chef were to offer something about 20% smaller, it would still be quite useful but a bit more wieldy. If you can accommodate to its size and weight, you'll find it a very useful and enjoyable cooking tool
