It's time for dessert! Take a more masculine approach to baking cookies and use our skookie skillet. You can't go wrong with cookies for dessert, or an appetizer, or dinner, or even breakfast. Nobody is judging you! If they are, its because they are jealous.

Ingredients

Cookie dough - 2 lbs.

Ice cream

Instructions

Holiday Skookie

Step 1

Pre-heat the oven to 350 °F, and spray the Skookie skillet with cooking spray. All of our cast iron comes pre-seasoned and ready to cook, but a light oil spray will make clean-up easier.

Step 2

Take a third of the cookie dough and form it into a ball. If you made your own cookie dough, start with a ball of cookie dough a little larger than a golf ball.

step 3

Place the ball in the center of the pan and knead it out to the edge of the pan. If you need to add more place it in the center and work it out to the edges. You only want the dough to reach about halfway to the top of the skillet, so it has room to expand while baking.

step 4

Place the Skookie pan on the center rack (or on the baking stone if you're using our Italia Artisan outdoor oven) for 10-12 minutes. For those who like their cookie a little gooey, bake for 10 minutes. If you prefer more well-done, then shoot for 12 minutes.

step 5

After it is done, set it aside and let it cool for 2-3 minutes. Grab your favorite ice cream and place a few scoops right in the center. Finish with chocolate syrup. Let it melt for a minute then enjoy!
