May 4, 2011Dutch Oven Adventures
Last summer, I was determined to learn to cook in a dutch oven. I bought a 12 in. Camp Chef and began my cooking adventures. I had some learning experiences and, then, some successes as I began to get the hang of heating with coals. Most of all, I had lots of fun! I can’t wait for the snow to melt and to try some of the recipes that I’ve been compiling over the winter.

My kids wanted to have grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch yesterday, so I thought I would take a look and see if there what grilled cheese were like in the 40′s. Sure enough they had a recipe!

I remember in the summer using my Camp Chef burner to brew my home made beer with my friends. We usually get like 5 or more of us together to brew a batch of 5 or 10 gallons of home brew.
