REVIEWS

Everest Two-Burner Camping Stove is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever. Used it on 7 week trip this summer almost between 6,000 and 12,000'. Delivered hot water fast every time. I was initially concerned about low settings but had no problem adjusting even for delicate omelettes. Worth the money, but needs to come with carrying case- even a lightweight version. Rented a stocked teardrop this week, camping at 1500'. Forgot what a 'typical' camp stove puts out for heat. Didn't enjoy waiting forever for hot water to make instant coffee in 42 degrees. Even more impressed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality and unreliable Tested my stove right out of the box. Right burner did not function at all. The plastic latches are riveted and the rivet was loose allowing the latch to just spin around. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Powerful Stove We have owned this stove for a few years now. It is easy to use and is quite powerful due to the direction the flame is directed from the burner. I highly recommend this stove.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Everest 2 burner camp stove Not the quality I was expecting. Wind deflector doesn’t fit to stove properly. No carry handle and flimsy latches. I will be returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome power to cook fast I hadn't been camping in 20 years and wanted to get a stove that would not take 30 minutes to boil a pot of coffee. I don't want to spend my camping time waiting for water to boil! This one started to boil an 8 cup pot within 3 minutes! It also lit the burners right away. Only 2 cons: I need to find a heat resistant non-slip surface to keep it from sliding when pushing the igniter button. 2nd con isn't really a con it's just that this stove is 23.5 inches wide before you take into account the regulator space you need on the side. If you are going to use a bottle it needs about 33 inches. I have obtained a regulator adapter for a tank for next trip but still need about 33 inch width. I'm having a hard time finding a fold away grilling table to use with this stove. I am very pleased with the performance of this stove so I will eventually find the perfect set up!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome power Just went through hurricane Irma. Even though we have a gas stove in the kitchen, without power, we didn't want any more heat inside while cooking. We used this on the patio with great success. This stove has incredible power. Much better than our kitchen stove in fact and the controls work great for simmering as well. This is a great stove. Time will tell how it holds up long term, but fantastic so far.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ideal portable stove. I tested this puppy a few times and I'm happy I got it. I was blown away with the size of the flame this thing generates. You can get water boiling in no time! It just takes some getting used to when you use the flame control. If your not careful you'll have a bigger flame than you probably want so practice with it first to be on the safe side.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Massive cook space! I purchased this stove a few weeks ago and its been amazing! The electric start system works every single time with no need to always find a lighter. I can easily place 2 10" cast iron skillets on this stove without issue. Temperature regulation is amazing and BTU output is top notch. There isn't anything I would change about this stove.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality control...stove arrived with 2 dents! After doing a lot of research, I could not wait to buy the Camp Chef Everest. I was so excited when I found it on sale at Dick's Sporting Goods. I ordered it online and it was shipped directly from Camp Chef to my home. When I took the stove out of the box, I immediately saw two obvious dents on the bottom right under side of the stove. I was so disappointed! I immediately called Dick's and they said I had two options. I could return the stove and re-order another one, or I could keep the damaged one and they would take 20% off the price. I decided (for now) to keep the damaged stove with the discounted price, however the dents are pretty obvious and I still may return the stove to Dicks. I am annoyed at having to wait for another stove to be shipped, not to mention taking the chance of getting another damaged stove. I can't comment on the performance of the stove because I haven't tried lighting it yet. Hopefully the dents did not cause any damage to the internal parts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good burner control My husband just bought this grill after doing a lot of research. He likes the fact that you can control each burner so well. It’s a shame it’s so cheaply made otherwise. It’s very “tinny” and the very first time he used it the ignition switch does not work!! Why is this grill over $100 & made so cheaply??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this stove! I bought this stove last year because it has 20,000 btu's of POWER per burner it is the best stove I have ever had! I have been camping for 55 years this is the first camp stove that I can actually turn the burner to simmer and it doesn't go out! Try that with the stove you are currently using!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Needed a stove during remodeling I used the stove while we remodel our kitchen during the summer. Ran the stove everyday for a little over a month as our primary cook top. Ran with no issues with everyday usage, made us switch from electric to gas in our kitchen unit. Goes to show it's quality and durability

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Impressed I like the build quality of this stove. Once I opened the box and removed the packaging, you could feel the product was well built. I checked it through and I have to say the components are high-grade...I'm impressed. Buy it...you will be quite pleased.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice BTUs, but crummy quality overall The stove works well out of the box, but the hinges rust as soon as you look at them, the thin metal case dents within days and you will go through several regulators during ownership. For the price, the stove should be a lot better quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome stove This stove is awesome! Like other reviewers have stated you have to be careful on the temperature nob but once you get the hang of it it's awesome!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from power house This thing cranks out the heat! Take it easy on the nob, otherwise you will burn through the fuel. Overall I dig it.
