- Eggs - 4
- Sugar - 1 1/2 cups
- Butter, melted - 6 Tablespoons
- Flour - 2 Tablespoons
- Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Buttermilk - 3/4 cup
- 9-inch pie crust, unbaked - 1
Beat eggs in medium size bowl. Add sugar, butter, flour, vanilla, and salt. Slowly add buttermilk and blend well. Pour filling into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes. The top should be golden brown and the center should be almost set with just a slight jiggle when moved, it will set up as it cools. The internal temperature should be 160 degrees, if taken with a meat probe.
