Versatile might as well be the Camp Chef Camp Oven’s middle name. It would certainly fit. Whether you use it while camping, or at home—who wouldn’t love to keep the heat out of the house in the summer, and for additional cooking space during the holidays—or for your emergency preparedness gear, this oven will deliver every time. Here at Camp Chef HQ, in beautiful Utah, we have recently witnessed our state experience Mother Nature’s wrath from the north to the south and everywhere in between. Fires and flash floods have forced families to evacuate their homes, and raised the topic of emergency preparedness for many. And we know that we aren’t alone—we’ve seen similar disasters all over the country. Although we would hope that you never have to use it for an emergency, this little Camp Oven can see your family through should you need it. Designed with a stovetop featuring two 7,500 BTU brass range burners and built in windscreen, matchless ignition, and nonstick enamel cooking surface, we have made this to be easy to use and easy to clean. The stainless steel constructed oven has two removable racks, a built-in oven temperature gauge, and room for a full-sized 9×13 baking dish, so there isn’t much you can’t prepare regardless of where you are. Fueled by a 1 pound propane bottle (adaptable to a bulk tank with a hose adapter), this oven will reach 400˚F, and will hold a temperature of up to 350° F for up to 7 hours. Easy to see why it was named “Gear of the Year” by 50 Campfires. It has convenient carry handles on the side, but an optional carry bag is also available, helping to protect the oven from scratches and dings while making it even easier to grab and go. We also recommend the Camp Chef Sherpa Table & Organizer. It includes four zippered compartments—one of which is lined for use as a cooler or sink—fitting neatly inside and organizing your necessities. The table features an aluminum roll-top table that stores neatly into a zippered side pocket, telescoping legs extending to 28 inches, and padded carry handles for easy transport. In an emergency, a pre-packed table would eliminate the need to round up supplies. Simply grab the table, grab the stove, and you’re ready to go!
