Using your Camp Chef products all year around
|
My kids are in 4H, they show horses. At the qualifying shows, people will camp out. We live close, so we stay at home. Of course when people have their camp set up, they put out their stoves, pots and pans, chairs, etc. Saw a family who had Camp Chef products. Discussed it a bit (while we were trying to get out kids back and forth to the events) and heard some interesting things from them. Now, what I'm about to reveal isn't anything new to me. I've heard it many times before from people I've met at camps everywhere. What I'll hear is "I sure wish I went camping more so I could use my stove more.". This kind of threw me a bit. Normally I'll respond with "I use mine all year around, especially on my back porch!". When they find out I'm a Camp Chef Prostaffer I'll usually get a response similar to "Well you are representing them, you probably have to.". This is far from the truth, and I've kept my Camp Chef stoves on my back porch setup well before I joined their pro staff program. Only difference now is I have more of their products (and always finding more stuff to add to my back porch lol).
Here's a picture of my constant setup

I keep a Tahoe loaded with the flat tops. Under my Tahoe, I have the storage rack with all the goodies (Cast iron reversible top, more griddles, grill boxes, etc), my Yukon loaded with the Super Grill box (it's totally awesome, I love cooking with this grillbox!), and of course I have my Smokevault 24. I'm in the process of adding a single burner stove for my wok, and of course a storage rack for my Yukon so I can keep all the accessories for it close by as well. I always put the storage covers back on them. Eventhough my patio is covered, I still get condensation (make sure you let the stoves/smoker cool before covering). Don't want my stoves and accessories to rust. With the setup I have (and the extra stoves and equiptment in my garage) I can cater to small family functions to huge BBQ's for friends and family. I can run my Camp Chef products all year (and thanks to the weather in the Pacific Northwest I DO run them all year).
So next time you wish you could use your Camp Chef products at home, simply pull them out of their carry bags and set them up on your porch or patio. I don't even have a standard BBQ anymore, my Camp Chef modular system takes care of all my needs for me. |
