Sandwiches anyone? Retro recipes for sandwiches are totally wierd. I am soooo grateful for cold cuts and deli meat. Not to mention a really good grilled cheese. Check out this one:
- 2 T. butter
- 1/4 c. grated American cheese (I cut Kraft singles into really small pieces)
- 1 t. vinegar
- Salt, paprika, mustard, anchovy paste (I couldn’t find anchovy paste, so I used an anchovy and smooshed it up)
- Cream the butter, add the cheese, anchovy and vinegar.
- Season and spread onto slices of bread.
Wretched Rating: 3 Very buttery and wierd. Didn’t taste fishy, but smelled sooo fishy. (I took 2 bites, so you know I sacrifice a lot for you readers!!)
