We have found that we can save a little cash, eat as well, and have a better time tailgating.  I’ve built cook box that stays in my rig. Worst case scenario there is always some dehydrated soups, cocoa and coffee available. Planning our tailgating meals makes it really easy with my Camp Chef Denali.

If an outing goes haywire (and in this case it did when the storm beat the Cisco in), there is always the good meal, interaction and conversation spawned by good food.

The five a.m. fish outing always is a plus for wearing out a grand kid. But put a warm cup of soup and cocoa in his belly and he is out the minute the truck heads home.
