Outfitting the Camp 4 Collective Adventure Film Crew

By on January 23, 2014

When you see video of kayakers plunging over giant waterfalls, skiers flying down Alaskan mountains, and rock climbers navigating cliffs larger than sky scrapers, the chances are pretty high that the footage was shot by the award winning adventure film makers at Camp 4 Collective. In April of 2013, Camp 4 spent a month following a single set of BFGoodrich tires as they were passed between professional mountain bikers, fly fishermen, kayakers, and rock climbers. The shoot involved thousands of miles of rough roads, remote locations, and a big hungry crew. How do you feed such an ambitious bunch you might ask? Camp 4 turned to the outdoor cooking experts here at Camp Chef for help, and we were glad to respond. We outfitted them with our favorite stoves, griddles, camp tables, and accessories. By all accounts the shoot was a complete success, and keeping the crew fed was one thing they didn’t have to worry about.
