I was on an elk hunt with a friend in Eastern Oregon. We decided we wanted to stay out in the woods all day and cook a hot breakfast there. It was too much time wasted to go back to camp on the 30 miles of bouncy, gravel roads. I said, “lets take my Camp Chef single burner butane stove, it cooks up a storm.”
Before we left camp in the early morning darkness, we loaded the cooler with food. When my friend came out of the woods after a hard morning hunting, I cooked us up a hot breakfast in a jiffy. With more activities ahead of us that day, we were glad to have a hot, hearty meal.
