Grilled Tri-Tip Recipe

By on May 18, 2012

For many, Memorial Day is the first large-group get-together of the Summer months. Grills and griddles are pulled out of storage, patio furniture is uncovered, and trailers are summerized. Being the first group gathering, some are hesitant to pull out their more flashy and complicated recipes fearing that they might have gotten rusty over the long cold winter months. Like major sports they feel they need a couple preseason games. A couple of cook-outs to get their grilling legs back under them. So they resort to the old standbys, hot dogs and hamburgers.

Now don’t get me wrong, I like a good hot dog or juicy hamburger just as much as the next guy. Why not start things off with a real bang this year? Why not knock it out of the park at your first at bat? Let people know that this season you mean business.

If you’re up to the challenge, we have a perfect recipe for you to dazzle those that will be in attendance this Memorial Day. The best part of this recipe is how easy it is. Check out this video and follow along with Matt from Camp Chef as he cooks up some grilled tri-tip roast and you’ll just how effortless this recipe is. Want more good news? From prep to completion this entire process can be done in under 45 minutes!
