Franconia Potatoes

The name is so lovely, but sadly the recipe leaves some to be desired! Had I been roasting meat, maybe the potatoes would have tasted a bit better. I didn’t want to take more time, so I just threw them in with the roast after par boiling them. The flavor was like a potato, not like a potato soaked in meat juice! So, for a quick starch if you don’t want to mash, try this! If not, skip it.
