It’s finally warm, sunny and the end of our work week so what better way to celebrate than with an easy Cinco De Mayo party. Here at Camp Chef we feel that the best way to celebrate for any occasion is with food! Using a Lumberjack skillet on a Camp chef stove makes it easy to feed a large, hungry group of people. We decided to make Taco Salads and chop up some fresh avocado to put on top.
Chef J started things off by chopping & browning the onions to flavor the meat. We knew we had a lot of meat to brown, so we pulled out our giant 16 inch Lumberjack Skillet (SLJ16). We threw that sucker on our 3 burner Big Gas Grill stove (SPG90B) along with a couple heat diffuser plates (FT10) to spread the heat more evenly on the huge skillet. The taco meat cooked quickly and to perfection.
Before you knew it, the food was ready and devoured within minutes. This was a simple, quick, yummy way to celebrate Cinco De Mayo. Have a GREAT weekend.
