It was a lucky week for Outdoor Chef Kurt. I got to go on 2 separate bird hunts on 2 preserves in beautiful Central Oregon with great success. The preserve season ends March 31st so they were putting out all of their last birds out. I was shooting a side by side double barrel 12 guage shotgun that I also use for cowboy action shooting and my aim was true , and the birds were brought to hand by a shorthair named Memphis. Tuesday was Chuckars and Thursday was Rooster Pheasants. These birds loved to run and when pushed would take to flight for some great wing shooting action.
