As with any Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping weekend, there were a lot of deals going around. Stores were opening at all kinds of crazy hours Friday morning and some even on Thursday to try and attract as many shoppers as they could.
But what happens when all the shopping dust has settled and the credit cards are placed back in their holsters. For some, that’s when the real work begins. All those orders that were placed need to be picked, packed and shipped. Here at Camp Chef we had some of our busiest shipping days ever this week getting orders boxed up and ready to go for customers and dealers all over the country.
Luckily, we have the best warehouse staff around so there’s no challenge too difficult for these guys. They took the bull by the horns and got busy. For 2 days straight it was like a tornado of cardboard and packing tape hit the warehouse head on. And at the end of it all, the shipping containers were jam packed with Black Friday and Cyber Monday packages ready to begin their journeys to awaiting customers.
On a side note, our warehouse team ALWAYS does a bang up job making sure all orders are handled with care and shipped on time. In a job that sometimes goes unnoticed and sometimes without thanks, we’d like to take a moment and tell them Thank You. They’re a vital part to our Camp Chef team and we couldn’t do it without them.
That truck is FULL!
