My kids wanted to have grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch yesterday, so I thought I would take a look and see if there what grilled cheese were like in the 40′s. Sure enough they had a recipe!

Last summer, I was determined to learn to cook in a dutch oven. I bought a 12 in. Camp Chef and began my cooking adventures. I had some learning experiences and, then, some successes as I began to get the hang of heating with coals. Most of all, I had lots of fun! I can’t wait for the snow to melt and to try some of the recipes that I’ve been compiling over the winter.

I was so excited to try a Royal Wedding cake! I was watching Rachael Ray and she had a British expert who told the audience that Prince William and Kate would be having a traditional Wedding Cake, ie Fruit cake, I thought cool, I guess. I remember in the summer using my Camp Chef burner to brew my home made beer with my friends. We usually get like 5 or more of us together to brew a batch of 5 or 10 gallons of home brew.
