I’ve been trying to cook more with whole wheat (ie the giant skookie) and searched and searched for a pita bread recipe make with whole grain. I found it! Being made with whole wheat makes it a bit sweeter than traditional, but still really tasty and with a convenient pocket for all my Greek crockpot chicken!

I don’t know why this is, but I think I am one of the only people who cannot grow zucchini! It is embarrassing. My yellow striped squash plant is nearly 4 times the size of my poor little zucchini plant. Alas, I am sure I will be able to get a hold of some. Maybe when mine finally grow, everyone else’s will be gone. A girl can dream can’t she?

If you have never had one, you might want to try one. A-Mazing. However, if you are short a few skookies, or really hungry, I have a recipe for you! I used a cast iron pie pan (you could also use a skillet) and used about 3/4 of the cookie dough recipe below.
