It’s not often that the drone of the Camp Chef office comes to a halt for much of anything, let alone for a truck backing up to the dock doors in the warehouse. This wasn’t a regular truck backing up though; it should have had a police escort all the way through town. It was the truck that was bringing us the long awaited Mountain Series stoves and lanterns and it did indeed bring things around the office to a silent stare out the windows. Box after box was unloaded; pallets were assembled to the gaze of people that were desperate get a look at the new “goodies.” Rainier, Teton, Denali, Solar Flare, Solstice and Helios drew “ooohs” and “aahhhhs” as if they were the finale at the Fourth of July celebration.
Consider this blog posting your official announcement that the new stoves and lanterns are in! Though the previous paragraph may have been a bunch of half-truths, you ought to get the idea at how excited we are about having the Mountain Series in stock. Check out the website for detailed descriptions, videos and photos of the new gems! I have posted one blog entry on using the Denali and will be using the others very soon, all of which will be followed with a detailed review here on the blog.
