HOW IT WORKS
1.
Completely thaw your birds. Any
frost will slow cooking time and consistency.
2.
Trim excess fat from around the cavity
opening of the bird and remove the tail.
3.
Remove giblets from inside the bird
and open a hole under the neck into the cavity. This will allow
a vent for the moisture from the can.
4.
Rinse your birds with clean cold
water and pat dry with paper towel. Season if desired with
injection marinade and dry rub. Open can of favorite beverage,
drink 1/3 and rest in holders.
5.
Place chickens over the open beverage
cans. If you are cooking a turkey, use the single stand.
6.
Cover with Keg lid. Follow the
manufacturer’s instructions for igniting your cooker,
then set the output level by turning the control knob (medium
heat on Camp Chef stoves. Cook at 250 to 300 degrees Fahrenheit
until internal meat temperature reads 170 degrees Fahrenheit
